Aerosol Finds From October 2016

Aerosol Finds From October 2016 that I posted on my Instagram account last year. These were all around the downtown core with few wall graffiti art murals

Before the ???????? presidential debate begins.. I wanted to post this mural by @javid_jah of Rob Ford.. Our former Mayor. From 2011 that I just found in August (on Augusta Ave BTW)

To me Donald Trump reminds me of him.. very colorful and entertaining but…. .

And I will let you fill that part in. _______

Anyway this was done in protest against the mayor at the time who was ‘cracking down’ on unsanctioned street art.
The city now has programs to encourage street art and Toronto has become a world class art city (IMHO)

I was searching for this @elicserelliott mural of Frida Kahlo  for awhile now – I think it’s a couple of years old now .. I have seen it on here several times before (a lot of people don’t geotag their images for some reason) .

Anyway I stumbled upon it last Wednesday in a laneway and was taking some snaps of it and 3 business men were walking ???? by and watched me taking pictures of this. .
.
You probably can’t read what it says on mobile ???? but it says in the upper left “For those who don’t know… This is Frida Kahlo“. .
When I finished taking my photos one of the guys stopped me and asked very politely who Frida Kahlo. .
First I thought ???? he was just joking.. But I explained that she was a Mexican painter know for her self portraits and her unibrow
.
.. (also on the bottom left ⬅ if you can’t read it – it says “Respect the Queen Frida” … And on the upper right ↪ it has his signature and it says “moves too slow”
She has some great quotes 2.. “I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best”

Here is my latest art ???? in progress ‘great find ‘ from today – after yet another visit to the dentist.. You can see the size of this wall on the side of a building. The guy is on the ladder and to the right of him is a really flexible woman who was painting with a roller ???? while standing on a utility box.. It was really windy and cold ❄ today.. .
And you could tell they didn’t want to be disturbed.. I’ll keep an eye out for this one .(these dentists appointments have been good because I’ve been walking off the freezing after and finding cool ???? stuff)
