Mostly from College Street in Downtown Toronto. New traffic signal boxes, plus some more artwork that is still in progress

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

Found this Traffic Signal Box yesterday by @keightmaclean on College St.

When I first saw this.. I went “Oh No ! Someone tagged it.” then I realized it’s supposed to be that way.

From Keight’s Instagram “Inspired by a beautiful Peter Paul Rubens, I wanted my piece to celebrate the beautiful way Torontonians have of coming together!”

The back of this has a similar look. I wasn’t able to get the best angle as the construction was at this corner. Its very original !

Another Traffic Signal box by Louise Reimer

From here website “Louise Reimer is a freelance illustrator and artist currently living in Toronto, ON. Reimer was raised in Vancouver and Galiano Island, British Columbia. She graduated from Emily Carr University in 2012 with a BFA in printmaking and drawing. She is currently working on her first children’s book. ”

Its at an intersection with a Starbucks and lots of cafes nearby. Very appropriate for the neighbourhood.

Jacqueline Comrie Garrido Mural

Then I went a little further down the street and tried to see if I could see Jacqueline working on this mural. Its coming along really well.. but the weather hasn’t been very good for this type of outdoor work. Its been raining forever it seems. I will have to swing by again to see this. I really like her color choices

Elicser Elliott Mural

This is on Dundas and part of a huge mural that he did for the November Movember campaign a few years ago. Its to make men aware of prostate cancer. They grow facial hair for the month and raise money for charity. A lot companies and campaigns are using mural artists to promote themselves.
