I have some intel for you about the piece you have labeled Teerox. I made this piece in collaboration with my friend who also writes by a few notable local graffiti names (I’ll neglect to mention for his anonymity’s sake). I got the offer to paint the garage after a neighbour in the area walked by while I was painting a mural on the side of Robert Kananaj Gallery. I had paint leftover, and knew my friend would be into collaborating on something fun and abstract. We basically painted it line-for-line taking turns, eventually generating the composition you’ve photographed. The homeowner later told us he really loved it – and in fact registered the artwork with the city so that it is somehow protected, even if he moves away from the property! We opted to sign the painting semi-anonymously – my friend signing as Teeroy, and myself with initials JH. I attached my website below for your interest – it’s a bit outdated by now, I’ve done some new works since and have some big things in the works coming up soon, hopefully. Thanks kindly

Imagine covering up the very rudimentary cliff paintings at Bon Echo with something like this people might think it’s more attractive but would it be better? Don’t be such a jerk, I’m sure the person who did the mural he covered up worked just as hard at it as he did.

I think he’s actually supposed to be a dinosaur, maybe.
