February 2024 Toronto Street Art Finds

Just a post to begin the year. Thanks for those who are still coming. I haven’t been updating as much and to be honest there hasn’t been that much to update with.

The street art scene was just starting to get some buzz back in 2019 – they were a lot of things going on. Then COVID happened.

2021 was supposed to be the year of Public Street Art in Toronto. And although there were some cool art things happening.. COVID was still happening.

Anyway.. there are still some amazing artists in Toronto but I personally think that inflation is really having an effect on the art scene. Its not easy to make a living as an artist.

After exploring much of Montreal street art scene over the last two years I can see the differences in the street art. I have posted some of the finds that I discovered in Montreal.. but Montreal has such a vibrant street art scene that’s in been very well documented by so many people in so many different languages. I really can’t do any better than what is already online – as far as the Montreal street art scene.

I will continue to update and I have been focussed a bit more on the GTA which is starting to emerge as cheaper and more interesting alternative to the Toronto Street Art Scene.

Stay Tuned
