Mid November 2020 Urban Exploration Finds
My last street art post for 2020… but no worries … I still have a lot more that I will be posting from 2020 in the new year.
COVID really messed up what should have been a fantastic year for street art. The weather was perfect and some projects did end up going ahead. Overall though there wasn’t as much street art going on as in years before. Bummer..
Hopefully 2021 will make up for everything !

FP Monkey Planters
I’ve been passing these planters across from Trinty Bellwoods Park for months and I’ve taken photos of a lot of them.
They are all hand painted by FPMONKEY !
Looks like she did some in Kensington Market as well !
These are really difficult to paint because of the environment.
There’s literally hundreds of people walking by.. some with bikes.. some with pets.. some with mental health issues… !
I have total respect for the street artists that paint these !

Keight Maclean Traffic Signal Box
Years ago.. maybe 3 or 4 Keight Maclean painted this traffic signal box.. and for those many years there has been construction material all around the box..
Finally, in the last month of so.. they removed the construction and I’ve been able to see the entire artwork !

Phillip Saunders Mural
This mural by Phillip Saunders is about 4 years old as well.. but now there is a fence in front of it ! Ugh.. so tired of construction in this city.. it just doesn’t end.

Coffee Shop Graffiti
There’s a little coffee place hidden on this street.. I never noticed it until they painted the Bell Box in front with these cute doodles.
Very clever and a great way to advertise their shop.
