More August 2020 Urban Exploration Street Art

Catching up with my street art finds from August. Like I said before …things have been picking up as far as new street art to check out.

There’s a huge Wallnoize project taking place this week if you get a chance – go see it

Slip Graffiti

Not a very good one by someone who admits to not being an artist.

Gosia Komorski & Julii MacMillan & Jieun June Kim Bell Box

Last year Jieun June Kim painted the Bell Box on the right.

This year Gosia Komorski & Julii MacMillan painted the Bell Box on the left.

They kinda all flow together.

Street Art Toronto Traffic Signal Box

City of Toronto resumed their Outside the Box Program this year. However, they haven’t put together a list of the artists that were chosen. So I have no idea who did this one.

There is so much construction going on at this intersection that I couldn’t even get a decent photo. Hopefully they will put together a free poster as they have in years past.

Perfect mural by Alex Bacon that he did back in July to celebrate the front line workers. This was for Street Art Toronto.

Urban Ninja & Feelings Boi Sticker

Had to include the Urban Ninja & Feelingsboi sticker that I found nearby even though it has nothing to do with the mural.

Graffiti Alley

Ongoing construction this summer has made a trip through graffiti alley not so much fun.
Some of the best murals are covered now by scaffolding.

Uber5000 Mural

This is all you can see of the cat that Uber500 did.

Shalak Attack Mural

You can see part of the mural by Shalak Attack.

Omen515 Mural

Just the bottom of the mural by Omen is visible.

Bruno Smoky Mural

Shame that that this is all you can see of the Bruno Smoky mural.

Luvs Mural

You can see all the construction going on. Luvs did the art here.

Mike Salisbury Wheatpaste

More paste ups by Mike Salisbury are a nice contrast to the mess of construction.

Hey Apathy Graffiti

I wish I had taken a better photo of this wall. I’m surprised that someone hasn’t attempted a mural at this spot. Hey Apathy had something going on a few years but he was tagged.

Maya Angelou Wheatpaste

“Nothing Will Work Unless You Do” – M.A.

I found this a week ago or so and it kinda goes with my previous post. I have no idea who did it.. it’s a wheat paste right beside the train underpass. This is a super popular spot for paste ups, I have posted a few from this spot before.

It was so hard to capture because of the positioning, I had to cross the road and climb a bunch of steps just to get this semi-ok photo. I think it’s made more to experience than to photograph.

M.A. is of course … Maya Angelou
