Went to graffiti alley and found the latest murals by Bruno Smoky.    This looks to be a collaboration with Globe and Done.

Fresh art from the weekend…

Uber‘s bird is driving a car while eating a donut.. !

He’s got a tattoo on his arm.. he must have been in the navy…⚓

Literally, seconds after I took this.. a girl with what I think was her boyfriend stopped and she posed for a selfie in front of this mural…

Happy Monday

Stumbled upon this on Sunday… this is Homer Simpson from the tv show “The Simpsons”.. for the 1 person out there who doesn’t know that already… The mural I posted before by Chris was of Lisa Simpson.. who is Homer Simpson’s daughter.. for the 1 person out there who doesn’t know that already… I think Chris Perez... likes “The Simpsons”.. but he knew that already…

Happy Monday

I put this in my story today and realized I hadn’t posted it before…. so.. As per request for @saugastickers … here it is… I did a bit of research and this was done back in November of 2015.. and I will quote the newsstory from the Toronto Star @thetorontostar way back then :

“Praise is ringing out in Parkdale for a mystery makeover artist who cloaked pay phones with quirky designs and quick access to emergency lines. A benevolent bandit tricked out phones with colourful decoupage (paper cutouts) including 1-800 numbers for social services like Kids Help Phone and Legal Aid Ontario. Calls to local artists and service providers turned up no leads, just love for the idea”

I found a later article that actually identifies the artists as Diana Vazquez & Yanis Ertmanis. You can read the rest here.

There’s another bank of Pay Phones to the south of this with the same designs… Bell Canada.. has left them as they were 2 and 1/2 years later… There used to be 3 phones at this location back then.. now there is just this one.. Someone was asking who still uses these pay phones on Instagram last month.. there are a lot of people.. who do not have cellphones.. Believe it or not…
