Managed to watch this being made on Friday… I stopped by again last night to see how it was progressing and it was completely finished… .
Impressed how quickly this mural was created and how amazing it is at the same time. Its a Portuguese Fisherman right in the heart of Little Portugal ! They were cheering on the football team while they were working on this mural.
I don’t know much about Pablo.. and I couldn’t talk to him obviously because he was working up on the lift went I passed by… From his Instagram he says this in his profile “Graffiti Artist tattooer illustrator Graphic Design student ???? Chile ????????Valparaiso- Viña del Mar “.
(FYI – this wall had a mural on it before. but it was tagged several times over the years by lot of nasty graffiti).

Passed by this on Tuesday….. was pleasantly surprised… There was a really well done mural on this same wall for a few years… It had a hooded character carrying a scythe. I think it was supposed to be the grim reaper… I don’t remember who it was by.. I took a few pictures of it.. I never posted it because..it was well.. kinda grim.. I don’t know what happened to the previous one.. but this one is so perfect for this location in a back alley.. I think Alex Bacon must have did this one in the last month or so..
My recollection of the previous mural was a little off.. This is it.. I found this picture from August of 2016. It looks like a guy in a hoodie carrying a flag.. It says Moxe on the artwork.. I found another picture from another site that was taken back in 2014.. I guess I can finally say that I posted this. It must have been tagged with graffiti.. that’s the only reason that Alex would have worked in this space.
