Toronto Street Art Graffiti featuring Sticker Slaps Found in February 2017 mostly by unknown artists. A couple of graffiti tags captured by Lake Ontario as well as near Bloor Street. Most are vinyl sticker slaps with a couple of wheat paste throw ups. Graffiti tagging is with pen and one with aerosol spray.
More sticker slaps from last year all found at the beginning of the year. All in the month of February. Funny sometimes you find these everyday and then you won’t notice a new one for a week.
Union Jack Skull Sticker Slap
Found that Union Jack Skull on February 4th. Looks like a green skull over a Union Jack flag. No signature. It was in an area of town that has a lot of slaps. I will do a special post for that later because there were so many at one particular telephone booth.

Knew She Was Too Good 4 Me Graffiti
Found that on February 4th. It was on the back of a sign warning about going into the water. Says “Knew She was too Good 4 me”. Has that feeling like a girl broke up with a guy and he was wandering around the city thinking about the break up. Why they wrote this graffiti behind the sign I will never know.

VRIL by Hey Apathy Graffiti
Found that on February 6th. Think its by Mike Parsons. Mike has done some similar graffiti characters like this in other locations. I think he just uses paint for these. What “VRIL” is – I do not know.

DOHJA Graffiti
Found that on February 7th. I saw another graffiti tag like this with the words “DOHJA” down near High Park about a couple of months after I saw this tag. When I Google that word I get a marijuana reference from the Urban Dictionary.

Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated Wheat Paste Throw Up
Found that on February 8th. Says “Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated. Why? Because We Are All One. Connected”. Very true. I actually passed this location about a month ago in November of 2017 – and it was still hanging up there. Wheat paste throw ups are the best way to keep graffiti longevity.

New World Conspiracy Sticker Slap
Found that on February 11th. That graffiti sticker slap just says “New World Conspiracy”.
I have no idea what it is referring to .. Wiki shows it as being a conspiracy theory.

Schmetter Sticker Slap
Found that on February 17th. It just says “Schmetter” overtop of what looks like the waving hand emoji ???? “Schmetter” according to this website it is a the German word for Butterfly. But there isn’t any butterfly in the graphic. That was one near the “New World Conspiracy” slap.

The Indestructible Sticker Slap
Found that on February 17th. Just says “The Indestructible.” with the graphic of viking type character with horns. All black and white printing.

No Mis-chief Graffiti Tag
Found that on February 19th on the back of the door at an Adult Learning Centre. Definitely the tagger has a sense of humour. Not sure whoever had to clean that up would appreciate the graffiti. Appears to be red aerosol spray.

OTHER Graffiti
Found that on February 20th near Lake Ontario. Seems to be a face with the word “Other” spelt backwards “REHTO”. No idea who did that one. It didn’t last very long either. Was painted over the next time I went by.
