Sometimes the best 'street art' is on the actual 'street' - you just have to be on the lookout. I recently found these 'gems' and figured they were worth sharing. Although, the pessimist in me doesn't think we will eradicate racism or have world peace in my lifetime. The optimist is me is hopeful that we are at the beginning of major change for generations to come.

An oldie by goodie.. always liked the way they put the hand on the pole. From Wiki: "Vaughn Bodē (/boʊˈdiː/;[3] July 22, 1941 – July 18, 1975) was an American underground cartoonist and illustrator known for his character Cheech Wizard and his artwork depicting voluptuous women. A contemporary of Ralph Bakshi, Bodē has been credited as an influence on Bakshi's animated films Wizards and The Lord of the Rings. Bodē has a huge following among graffiti artists, with his characters remaining a popular subject.[4] "

From her account: "This mural is painted as part of the Village mural project by @churchwellesleyvillage celebrating #pride2020 @pridetoronto Tigers are revered as guardians and divine spirits and symbolize courage and power in Korean folklore and myth. I wish this flamboyant tiger would help protect the village and raise the spirit of the village. 🏳️‍🌈 -"

As sometimes happens -- there were two cars parked in the best spot to get a photo of this mural. On top of that -- the sun was blasting from directly above - so this was a good photo as I could get. And it turns out this is on the side of the Pembroke Inn @the_pembroke_inn "A local inn with a focus on incorporating local artists and design to our budget minded guests from around the world."

There was a truck in front as you can tell. The door was open but I didn't knock.. it looked like someone was inside. Who it was I will never know. I took my pictures really quick and walked down this really long alley - one of those alleys that you aren't sure will end and you don't know where they will go. But those all the best ones.
