Toronto Street Art Graffiti featuring Young Jarus Female Portrait Mural in alley off Queen Street West plus Lovebottherobot with some tagging in Roncesvalle
These photos are all from mid June of 2016. Still going through all these photos of street art and graffiti. When I pass the same locations over and over- I go back to my photo library see what has changed. Its hard to remember sometimes without these photos. Where a mural once was another is in its place. Graffiti of course gets covered up pretty quickly.
Young Jarus Mural
Another female portrait by Young Jarus. I don’t know when this mural was done — this artwork is not posted on his instagram account. Someone told me (on Instragram) that its at least 4 years ago – as they used to live in this area.. When I talked to him in person he said that the people portrayed in his murals are mostly his friends. I am assuming that this is one of his friends – yet again.. he seems to have a lot of female friends — just from judging by all the artwork.
If you go down this alleyway there are a lot of murals all around this location. The good thing about this alleyway is that its not as popular as graffiti alley. The artwork in this alley is by some of the more know Toronto street artists. Definitely worth a visit.

Graffiti Bed Bug Mattress
Pretty Sure that Mr Tensoe and Jery Rugg did this spray aerosol on that mattress as Mr Tensoe commented on it when I posted it on my Instragram. Needless to say – this is no longer around.. But it was in that back alley for a couple of weeks at least.

Wheat paste Sticker Slaps
[one_half]
These wheat paste sticker slaps got painted over just recently — was sad to see them go. I actually had to scrape another sticker off to see what was written underneath – it read like this: ” “My plane is broke It’s Like my heart I want to barf I want to shed tears so much””. Mska let me know that “red girl” – had been there since 2010. Oh well – 7 years is a long time for a sticker slap.

Graffiti Tags on Bridge over Gardiner
[one_half]
These tags had been around for a long time too — on that same bridge over the Gardiner Expressway. There is a new mural by Justus Roe that was done this summer. They ended up removing a lot of the graffiti on that bridge. Pretty sure it will all come back. Just give it time
