Late August 2020 Urban Exploration Murals
Finishing up posting what I found in August. Things really picked up in August so it was nice to be able to find some new artwork. Although things are a lot slower than last year.. it’s good to see artists still sharing their creativity for us !
Jacquie Comrie Mural
This by Jacquie Comrie was for the LGBTQ community that is definitely in need of healing.

Adrian Hayles Artwork
By accident I walked by a window that used to be a Gay Bar and this artwork by Adrian Hayles was right there. He painted this last year for another festival and I hung out with him while he did this.
Mirror Graffiti
I spotted this around the corner. Someone glued what looks like a pieces of a mirror ball to a sign. Why not !

This was on the side of what used to be The Barn – painted by Jas Nine.
Further down the street this is also by Jas Nine outside a barber shop.

Lovebot Mural
Someone tagged the Lovebot mural for BLM. And I caught people leaving their furniture right in the middle of Graffiti Alley.
Mike Salisbury Art Installation
I checked out what people are writing in the message book left by Mike Salisbury. I swear every time I go there there’s a photo shoot happening in front of it.
Young Jarus Murals
So I posted last week the mural that was there before by Mika and SKAM. Well.. it’s been painted over.
There was some sort of event for runners and Young Jarus painted their portraits on the wall. I got lucky and there one only one car in the entire parking lot.
Weird to see Jarus flanked by these people… yikes.

Rose Stencil
Another rose stencil.
Sticker
I’ve seen a few of these stickers around. If you are going to make a sticker.. put your credit on it. Also.. don’t go over other people’s art.
Health & Safety Social Graffiti
Found lots more of these by Health & Safety Social. When I took that photo a lady that lived there, she came out and asked if they were cleaning windows since they had a ladder. I explained that this was for an art project. She liked the art.. but she still wanted her windows cleaned.

Beach Boys & Super Mario Graffiti
I check this wall fairly often because there is always something bizarre pasted there. This month it’s a picture of the Beach Boys circa 1964 and Luigi ! Because ..why not ?

Bee Shop Mural
Umm.. not really sure what to say about this mural. It just kinda appeared on this really amazing wall. There is a Bee Shop inside.
The mural is overlooking a parking lot that is fenced in so I had to walk all around to get this photo.
There is a lot of take in.
