Toronto Street Art Graffiti featuring Sticker Slaps From February 2017 with some by world famous graffiti artist Obey Giant, feminist artist Little Starchild from Montreal, Toronto veteran street artist Spudbomb, stencil by Los Angeles graffiti artist Alec Monopoly, female artist by Rey Midax and many other by unknown sticker slaps artists.
Obey Giant Graffit Sticker Slap
Obey Giant Sticker Slap found back on February 22, 2017. It has his signature “Obey” on it. Shepard Fairey doesn’t actually stick these graffiti stickers up himself.. but his team of followers put them up in different cities all over the world. He has 1 million followers on Instagram alone.
This one says “Cover the Earth” and the Obey paint can is painting the globe. As you can tell by the picture I found that graffiti on a pole.

Brotherhood Sticker Slap
That is the official logo for “International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) – the largest union of electrical workers in North America”
They have a pretty cool logo. Sometimes you will see ones like this that look like it might be art.. or it might be an official logo. You never know – its all just graffiti. I found that on February 22, 2017 as well as the previous one.

Lips Sticker Slap
Found this red lips with an eye in the middle back on February 22, 2017. Reminds me a little of the one that I still have to post with a hand. No signature so, I don’t know who that graffiti artist is. Not really sure why some people don’t put their signatures on their graffiti. Perhaps, they are afraid of getting fined.

Starchild Sticker Slap
Starchild graffiti sticker slap. This one says “The Others are Out there”. This has a X-Files theme to it. I have found ‘others’ that have a UFO reference. This artist is actually based out of Montreal and does a lot of art that would be considered feminist.
Found this on February 24, 2017

Alec Monopoly Stencil Graffiti Art
Alec Monopoly stencil graffiti that I found back on February 25, 2017. He is the street artist who uses the Monopoly man in most of his work. Some people find his art just copying a previously trademarked character and capitalizing on its familiarity. I kinda agree with his critics. Its not very original. It falls into the category of ‘parody’ – so there isn’t much the owners of that character can do. It also appears that no one knows who the original artist it as it goes back 100 years.

Man Wheat Paste Throw Up
Just a man with a cigar wheat paste throw up that I found on February 28, 2017. Its just hanging there – so whoever put that graffiti there didn’t do a very good job applying it.

Rabbit on the Beach Wheat Paste Throw Up
This I don’t really think should be consider graffiti. Its very odd and its been there awhile even though I photographed it on February 28, 2017. I looks to be a rabbit on the beach and there are some dolphins swimming in the sea. Its pretty cool and looks to be applied with wheat paste. The property owners must have decided to leave it instead of removing that graffiti. I initially thought it was an advertisement its so good.
FYI that graffiti artwork behind it – is by Kizmet32

Angela Davis Throw Up
“I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept. Angela Davis”. This was just stapled to a building that had been burnt.
I have no idea who put that graffiti there. But Angela Davis is an American political activist and that is one of her quotes.
Found that on February 28, 2017.

Spudbomb Stencil Graffiti
[one_half]
Another that really isn’t graffiti as its apart of a mural that Spudbomb did for a Junior School. The left side says “We take No Bull (ying)” and the right side says “Keep Calm and Be Strong” That is his signature character with the bomb with the big eyes. Its done with stencils.
Captured that back on February 28th, 2017.

Rey Midax Sticker Slap
Coincidentally, after I found that Spudbomb bomb.. I found this sticker slap graffiti of a bomb by Rey Midax on the same day on February 28th, 2017. After Googling here name I found out “Rey Midax is a Montreal-based street artist with a background in advertising.”
It looks like she had an exhibition back in January of 2017 and was using that sticker slap graffiti as advertising.

Guys Kissing Sticker Slap
One of the few Queer LBGTQ sticker slaps that I have ever seen. I found this back on March 5th. 2017. It appears to be two men kissing with the Gay Pride Rainbow Flag behind them. Unknown graffiti artist. I did find a similar slap with a Unicorn and a Rainbow about 4 months after this one.
