Mysterious Artist known as Banksy who does stencils normally. There was only one example of his art in Toronto that I found back in 2010. I only have the one photo of his work and the next day it was tagged. Although, it was a brief experience it brought me in to the world of street art.
The one that found was in an alley off of Dundas Street and had an older gentleman with a placard that read ‘Will work for idiots’. The next day when I went by someone had orange spray painted it. Then someone put another image of Ghandi overtop of that.
Bansky is thought to be one person but I have my feeling that it is a group of people that work together to create these amazing images that appear all over the world. He or she has given street art meaning. There is a preserved Banksy downtown.
