The video includes some of the graffiti street art that I have found so far this month. I’ve referenced the artists.. but some I don’t know who they are. There were some really cool wheatpaste graffiti throw ups on Bloor Street this week !
Mural in Roncesvalles from 2007
???? by @kizmet32 @timmifuk & @ansermysteriousdate
I hate when I leave on a sad post like the previous one.. (and I had another tribute mural lined up 2). So.. I’ll post this one instead.
I have posted all 3 sides of this mural that was apparently done back in 2007.. but I didn’t realize their is actually a 4th wall. All sides of this building have artwork on it..

Every time I’ve gone down this alleyway there is a huge white SUV parked in front. There wasn’t today.. and I noticed that the mural wraps around the wall.. and I kinda went past the sign that says “PRIVATE”.. don’t tell anyone.. and I found this ! Amazing..
FYI.. this building is for sale.. so if you bought it.. you would not only get this building.. but you would get to preserve this awesome art that has been there for over a decade now !
Just saying…

Tribute Graffiti Mural
???? “Building with the Gods – James Massey” by •Mark 3013• (I don’t know what their IG Is)
Found this mural after the train video..
I Googled “James Massey” .. and the first thing that comes up is a story from @globeandmail back in May 2012 that says this… “The victim, who lived in the vicinity of the park, was identified as James Massey, 32, a general labourer. He was killed by a gunshot blast fired at close range.” “While Mr. Massey had been stopped once by police before, he didn’t lead a “criminal high-risk lifestyle,” the detective said.” “There was no robbery, he said. “It clearly was a personal attack.”
So awful.. Such a Shame.
I don’t know if that who this mural is for.. but this mural is very moving tribute. I find these types of murals so moving.. its such a powerful way to say goodbye to someone you loved.
Gives me goosebumps every time I see one of these..

Nick Sweetman Mural
???? by Nick Sweetman @nick_sweetman ????
Finally, ???? the caterpillar that I was looking for last summer !
I knew it was somewhere around here.. but I found this yesterday afternoon by accident…
He’s got a better photo of it on his account from July 10, 2017…
He says this about this on his IG back then:
“Day shot of my finished piece from #dreams festival this weekend. Only been two days and the birds have shat on it quite a bit already so chances are if you see it it wont look this good, but take it in! At 40 feet in diameter this is my largest flat piece ever and the biggest piece ive ever completed in two days. It was an insane ride, lots of good stories, and awesome memories. Thanks Mike @amancalledspazz for hooking it up and believing i can do anything even if i tell him its not possible, #livenation for the sweet canvas, and @poserabm for coming and doing his thing and then sticking around with me for the finishing touches (and helping with clean up ????????????). All yours, birds! ????????????”
This is in a perfect spot.. it constrasts so well with the Toronto skyline behind it..
I couldn’t get it all in frame.. but its really amazing to see. And there wasn’t any bird poop on it.. after all these months.. !
Nick is definitely an artist to watch for ! ????

Wheatpaste Throw Up Graffiti Artwork
???? Don’t Ask Her To Smile.. by Unknown Artist
I’ve been finding these really cool graffiti pasteups lately.. If you don’t know what is.. it’s basically when an artist puts up their art where they wanna.. usually at night.. in a location that wanna put it.
I’m not condoning this practice.. .. but let’s just say.. I don’t find it offensive either.. This one is really big 2.. its gotta be 2 ft by 4 feet.. and it just says ‘DV’ on the bottom right.
She doesn’t look like she wants to smile either.
