Happy Canada Day Everyone ! – Wall Street Art
Like most Canadians I don’t brag or boast about my country.. but I am proud and grateful to be a Canadian. I’m one of the lucky few that was born not only in Canada but in Toronto.
Since, most of the people that I’ve met in my life are not from here.. you get to hear their stories (and some of them are horrific).. although, we complain about the weather (a lot).. we really don’t have much to complain about. After listening to some of the experiences that others have had coming from different parts of the globe.. it really does make me realize how lucky I am !
Have a great weekend !
Back story of this picture — below
——–Was trying to think of what to post for Canada Day since everyone has been wishing me a Happy Canada Day.. (thank you all so much).
Then it hit me !.. post the one that you meant to post last year !!
I’ve been walking by this spot for awhile now.. and I was thinking in my head.. that would be good to post for Canada Day.. except it was back in January of last year..
Then, I completely forgot about it..
(Last month I passed by and remembered that I still haven’t taken a photo of this. Problem is… the only spot to take a snap of this.. is standing up on someone’s porch.. the place seemed to be empty when I went by… just a lot of boxes around.. so, I decided that would be the best time to get this picture… So I quickly got up there and tried to frame it as best as possible.. but there’s a railing below where the Great Lakes are… I did my best.. and sorry if someone was living there. !
Not sure who painted this.. its not even signed.. and its on the side of a vintage store. I’ve only even seen it open once, looking through the window its full of interesting stuff. Its called ‘Suitcase‘ and most Canadians have travelled the globe with a suitcase in tow.).. So, now you know what this photo is !
