This mural is in front of what used to Ho’s Salon. They are waiting for some approvals and then a condo is supposed to appear here. Back in 2020 Jieun June Kima and some other artists painted a few murals in the gay village. Pride celebrations were cancelled that year – so this was an effort to brighten up the area.

Jieun June Kim Tiger Mural
Another tiger by Jieun June Kim because it represents “a symbol of strength and power and often seen as the guardian spirit and protector of the Korean people. “
You can find this mural in a alley in Etobicoke. There’s starting to be some cool artwork in that area. Definitely work exploring.
