The Mysterious Anser face. This graffit artist is well known within the city. He’s become very popular. They appear in locations that are visible and people take pictures of them because of their placement.
As the artist said on his own site its about the mystery. Its become something of thing to be able to find one of these face because you know that it won’t be there forever.

The faces that I have found have appeared in many unsual spots. Some are on the outside of clothing store. (Drake’s flagship shop as an example). Or more obscure places like outside a stairwell leading to a ravine.
The uniqueness and familiarity of the face is what keeps people interested in my opinion.
The artist has branched out into selling t-shirts and various merchandise. There are even masks that can be purchased from his website. Its become very commerical and mainstream
