Herakut Mural

Didn’t realize that this mural has been around for 13 years. It apart of something called the Giant Storybook Project..
I don’t think that I have seen it tagged. This artist is from Germany and did one in Montreal just last year.

Nick Sweetman Bee Mural

The second of Bee murals that Nick Sweetman did almost a decade ago. He had just completed one on Bloor and then started this one I think back in 2017.
Jasmine Choi Art

Outside of a store on Queen Street. Nice that they are able to support artists this way.

Outside the Box Utility Box
The Outside the Box program provides an opportunity for local artists to create works of art on traffic signal boxes across Toronto. Since 2013, over 600 boxes have been hand-painted or wrapped by local artists, and transformed into extraordinary works of art. Artists applying to this program are encouraged to consider the context of the local area and the city as a whole.

ARTIST FEE
Each selected artist will receive a total artist fee of $1,500+HST (if applicable), paid upon completion of the project:
$500 for design development
$1,000 for execution (painting labour and materials)
Artists grant the City of Toronto a royalty-free, non-commercial license to reproduce the final design for promotional and documentation purposes only.

burner is an exceptional, high-quality graffiti piece that “burns” or outshines everything else around it due to its superior style, complexity, and impact.

Shalak Attack Murals

These were done almost a decade ago. For the most part they hadn’t been tagged.. but it looks like there is a project going on underneath the underpass. Too bad.. but they were there for a long long time.
Definitely one of my faves by Shalak

This one was a work in progress. I didn’t stop and chat because they looked super into what they were doing and I didn’t wanna bother them.
