???? by “I have no Idea” . I saved posting this for a Friday..

I took a picture of this back on November 19th, 2017 and I didn’t post it because I didn’t know what it was about or who it was by. 2 months later and I still don’t know what this mural is about or who it’s by.

You gotta give lots of credit to the home owners.. I bet their neighbours probably think its very ‘unique’. When I took this picture a guy passing in a car gave me kinda a … “uh huh”.. look.

Are they monsters hanging out ? The one monster gave the monster with the white wig flowers for valentines day ? I dunno?

Is this from a movie ? a book ? Or Is it just what it is?

There was another larger mural nearby with a similar style. The website listed on that other mural.. goes to a site that isn’t active. If anyone knows who this is by and what its all about — please let me know and I’ll update my post.

Happy Friday !

Bell Box Artwork Michael Cavanaugh

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

???? by Michael Cavanaugh created back in 2010.

This picture is from October 18, 2016 — so a total throwback of a throwback…

I really liked the way the colors in the mural were flowing into the background with the trees. The leaves were just starting to change & the orange in the background flowed with the artwork IHMO. I think its a winter street scene which offsets the autumn foliage right behind this mural.

This is one of the early what they now call the “Bell Box Murals”. Basically, all the stuff that is inside that box holds everyone’s Internet in the surrounding area. Sometimes, when you walk by; they are left wide open and you can see all the wires just hanging out. Makes me a little nervous.. to be honest.. It would be so easy to just snip some of those wires.. I’ve always wondered when the service is out.. if that is what happened..

I remember this photo now.. because there were 2 guys standing behind this mural.. and I had to wait for them to move out of the way to get this picture.. I am pretty sure that it was some sort of drug deal going on. When you live downtown.. you get to recognize these things.. sad to say.

It captured my attention anyway.. surprised it took me over a year to post this…oh well.. better late than never..

Traffic Signal Box by Jacqueline Comrie Garrido

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

???? by Jacqueline Comrie Garrido @jcomriearts

Realized I haven’t posted this picture from last July (when it was warmer outside). This is right across the street from my previous post. She did this back in June and says on her account “Excited to bring some colour therapy to this box on Queen and Ossington”. This is by Jacqueline Garrido.

I find that the winter months really draw me into bright colors ! It really is like ‘colour therapy’.

I posted his wall mural earlier this year
