Kensington Market Mural Finds

There has always been a lot of street art in Kensington Market.

Bag Lady Graffiti

Not sure why.. but I got chuckle from this one. Not because I have no empathy. It was more about the way I found this.

First warning me that BagLady was coming

Second that BagLady was here.. however I originally thought I had missed Bag Lady..

Then I turn the corner and tada – its Bag Lady!

UN Sticker

Found a bunch of sticker that Urban Ninja Squadron probably put up. I used to hang out with UN all the time and then he had a family matter that that was that.

Lutes Sticker

In the same spot. He seems to come in and out of town. I posted a few of his stickers like 5 years ago.. We were even Instagram friends for awhil.e

Leaning Building Graffiti

This building was supposed to be fixed up in 2014 and they didn’t So then last August they evacuated and they took the top off.

I walked by it last month and there ‘s graffiti all over it. Looks like someone was inside.

FlipsBSC Mural

Speaking of families.. this artist is married with a kid. And he still has time to paint his swirls all over. There are a lot of his creations in Kensington Market.

House Graffiti Mural

That house has been painted a few times. Adrian Hayles painted it before this. You can see from the Google Street View.

Adrian said someone tagged it shortly after he painted it.. (check out that guy in the hot pants)

Anyway.. its been tagged again. I think its too easy to jump up on that roof. Not for me.. but I am guessing easy for that guy in the hot pants. Not accusing him or anything. but the building is an easy graffiti target.

I even found a sticker by Bodh.IO on that building.

Klimt Mural

Maintained by longtime friends Ryan Dineen & Alex Bacon this is probably the most photographed mural in the market. In the summer they usually put the earth car in front of it and everyone takes snaps.
