Sid & Nancy Sticker Slap

Found that Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen sticker slap on the side of a telephone booth. He was the singer for the Sex Pistols and murdered her in 1978. He later overdosed on heroin while on bail. They made a movie about their lives in 1986.

Heavy Lies the Crown” sticker slap by Brian Donnelly. I didn’t realize this but these are his oil paintings that he makes stickers off. His medium is “oil, turpentine, hand sanitizer” on canvas.

The one below is for a barber shop called “Town Barber”.

I found that “Irish” sticker slap near a bar. It must have been for St. Patricks Day. The small print reads “This is a novelty Label and does not guarantee the safety of the container contents. Please drink responsibly”.

Another Obey Giant Sticker Slap. This one was near the subway. Says “Push from the left Shove from the right It’s all planned out Let’s do it tonight!” As well as “Do It Yourself Obey Enamel”. Its a graphic of an aerosol spray can.

Found that “Recent Polls SUGGEST We do nothing to improve our situation” near a bar. Not sure who the artist is but it looks similar to the work of Ani Castillo.

Found that graffiti character on the sticker slap in High Park. Its on Letratone which is a defunct paper that was made by Letraset. I don’t know who the artist is that created the artwork.

The Campbells’ soup sticker slap with the skull is by an artist who goes by the name of Wyld. That looks to be a take on Andy Warhols Campbell’s soup cans.
