Traffic Signal Box by Time & Desire

Toronto Street Art Graffiti features Traffic Signal Box by Time & Desire at University/Dundas Intersection as well as one by Angelica Fernandes on Jarvis St

Time and Desire Traffic Signal Box

This traffic signal box by Time and Desire  really looks better as a video tube clip because of the wrap around lettering. When you walk all the way around it – it says “to create meaning we create illusion” or depending of what side you started from it could say “we create illusion to create meaning”

These artists who are based out of Kitchener now – do some really interesting artwork by messing with signs.

Time and Desire Walking Free Sign

Here is another example of Time and Desire’s work. When you first see this sign from the distance – it looks like just another “NO PARKING” Sign..but when you get closer to it.. it actually says “Walking Free”. They number this to make it look official TD-PEDWo1-1201.

Time and Desire Street Sign in Chinatown West

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

This is another of Time and Desire’s work that I found back in May. It’s right in the middle of Chinatown. When you first notice it – it just looks like another sign. Upon closer look, you can see their signature. It says something that I assume is in Chinese.. – what it says I do not know. I looks like a pair of birds in silhouette. They even numbered the sign TD-UA03-1401 to make it look official like the one in Roncesvalle.

Lovebottherobot stuck his sticker on it too.

Angelica Fernandes Traffic Signal Box

Found this back in August of 2017 at the corner of Jarvis and Carlton by Angelica Fernandes. It’s agave nectar plants on a traffic signal box. I figured the walk around video would be better than a photo as its hard to see all the sides of this in just one picture. Another one for StreetARToronto.
