Toronto Street Art Graffiti Various Sticker Slaps from 2017 by Uber5000, Urbanninjasquadron, Smearleader, Jango Jim & many unknown street artists found all over the city. These are mostly vinyl slaps with a couple of wheat paste throw ups. They are forms of street art or graffiti to advertise their artwork

Various Sticker Slaps from 2017

It was really hard just choosing 9 for this post.. I might try to do another post later.. there were so many of these. Like I explained previously, these aren’t for everyone. Sometimes graffiti artists use them to promote themselves. Sometimes musicians stick them to advertise their latest tunes. Sometimes they are just there because they are there… no reason needed.

For those of you who appreciate these.. enjoy !

From the sticker slaps that I know who the artists are.

1) I don’t know who did that one with the girl – it was just slapped on a pole.

2) Another that I do not know who its by. It was outside a trendy restaurant. It looks like a hand that is liking photos on Instagram.

3) It says “Damon Den” on that woman’s neck but I can’t find any references as to who it might be. It looks like a 60’s lady but she’s got tattoos all over her neck.

4) by @uber5000 – he’s got a fair amount of stickers with his bird and his cat. I think that cat is at his laptop typing. Uber5000 is fairly tall and he is able to slap his stickers high enough that I have to get on my tiptoes to take pictures of some of them.

5) by @il_cek – he has a few of these with different expressions. This one says “I made this sticker so I can pretend I’m a street artist”.

6) I think this is by @smearleader from his account “???????? All over the world. Smiling and looking over your neighborhood bodega’. I found that one by the lake.

7) by @urbanninjasquadron – It looks like those kids from Dick and Jane and Sally.. they have spray paint and they ran over that guy carrying fries and a drink.

8) Don’t know who that is by either – it looks like the Devil eating sushi. I found that on a newspaper box.

9) by @jango_jim from his account: “Coffee-infused illustrator, animator, muralist (Antwerp, Belgium) ”

Some of these graffiti sticker slaps are still at the same locations a year later. They lose their color over time. Sometimes they get scraped off but the wheat paste makes it difficult to remove. Some of the vinyl adhesives can be easily removed
