Minotaur Labyrinth Wall Mural Collaboration

???? by @spud1_spudbomb with @nick_sweetman & @cruz1art – I guess its a minotaur.

Which according to wiki is “Minotaur dwelt at the center of the Labyrinth, which was an elaborate maze-like construction designed by the architect Daedalus and his son Icarus, on the command of King Minos of Crete. ”

From Nick‘s account he says “Big wall made of pressed woodchips in these weird cubic formations – a real bitch to paint on – but we got it done! Bigups to @missladyoops for setting it up and to #Spud1 and @cruz1art for crushing the #labyrinth burners!

Looks like this mural was done in July 2015 and my picture is from March 5th of 2016 – you can’t tell from my picture — but there was fresh snow on the ground and this artwork really popped out !.

Here are some more of the mural from a different angle – you can see the tail of the minotaur better and more of the details of the labyrinth.

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

This is an overview of the train tracks themselves. Its a nice spot and like most train tracks all over the world, its full of graffiti. That wall on the left is Halo Brewery and since this picture was taken – there is a new mural there by Emily May Rose now.

Listen Bird – Everybody Got A Hungry Heart Graffiti

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

This is on the wall around the corner from the minotaur mural. You actually have to go on the train tracks – which is apparently trespassing – but judging from all the graffiti – there were a lot of trespassers.

Hungry Heart is a song by Bruce Springsteen that was released in 1980. A lot of Listen Birds graffiti tags mention pop songs from the 1980’s.

Train Track Graffiti

This tag that was on the wall by the train track says “I saw them kidz doing graffiti on those there train tracks”. The character seems to be an unamused older man wearing a tie. Its pretty humorous when you see it.

Graffcock Graffiti

These “Graffcock” graffiti tags were around for about a year. They got painted over about 6 months after this picture. For some reason penises are everywhere when it comes to graffiti. It just reminds me of high school – some things never change.
