Master Mechanic Mural

Toronto Street Art Graffiti
Mural done by Magicfinnga WonG back in May of 2014. It shows some of the animals that are in the zoo nearby. This is at the back of an Auto mechanic shop. The front of the building has superheroes with some of the mechanics portrayed.

I was saving this one for awhile and I meant to post it yesterday because that movie just came out. I forgot all about it, but I passed it again tonight.. its on the coolest car mechanic ????‍???? shop ever. They post inspirational messages on their billboard instead of advertising. (Art by @magicfinngawong ????????) Around the entire garage is art ???? by @artchild416 and @skamoney. The back of the place has Oscar the Grouch on their trash bins. The front of the garage has super heroes including Woman Wonder featured here. I don't know all my comic characters but its Captain America ? and I don't know what the other one is. I'll dedicate it to Christopher @cmackedny who is a huge Women Woman fan.. He posts A LOT of images with her character on it. Also.. I forgot to wish everyone Happy Pride Month ????️‍???? Yesterday !.. So, I'll use this post for that 2. Woman Woman is a Universal Gay Icon. She really rocks those awesome outfits.. ____________ #wonderwoman #happypride #gaypride #lgbt

I've been passing this ???? garage for a couple of years now.  It's covered in aerosol artwork – front – back and sides. There are other mechanic shops that have some artwork on them.. but not like this one. I posted the Wonder Woman mural that is on the front of this building back in June. There are some other superhero characters on the front entrance including Batman, Spiderman & Superman. This mural is at the back of the garage.. Its by @magicfinngawong and it was done back in May of 2014. The post on his Instagram says It is to "bring High Park zoo to light outside local business".. There is a small zoo in the park nearby that has some of these animals ???? .. including a peacock. When I first saw it.. I didn't realize that… now it all makes sense. I didn't realize that Oscar the Grouch was at the zoo until now. The other interesting thing about this garage is that it's owned by a woman. Josie Candito is the owner of the shop. Out in front of the building is a billboard which most shops use to advertise their services.. this one however, displays positive messages… the last one I noticed said "If you can dream it, you can do it" – famous quote by Walt Disney. There's been a few news stories about this particular mechanic shop… its very original with uplifting messages and of course the original artwork http://www.citynews.ca/2016/12/02/toronto-auto-repair-shop-sends-message-using-billboard/ _______ #artinacan #instagraffiti #mural #graffiti #streetartistry #graffitiart #streetarteverywhere #instagraff #streetsoftoronto #tdot #instaart #graffiti #cartoon #6ixwalks  #art #muralsdaily #popart #the6ix #exploretocreate #mural #urbanart #streetart #wallart #visualart #wallporn  #alleyway #streetart #urbanwalls #torontostreetart #mural

There is some artwork over at Ontario Place on the pavillons. Ontario Place used to be an amusement park that was closed in 2011. They reopened it to the public in the summer of 2017.

Carlos Guevara artwork. This one the only one that had a placard on it when I went by.
It reads “Carlos Guevara is a self taught artist who lives in the York South Weston area. He creates artwork from his imagination using water colour and acrylic paints. Carlos is also versed in photography and has a strong and varied background using technology to manipulate images and create pieces that inspire and provoke. You can follow him on social media @artkrave
ONTARIO 150: This piece was my interpretation of the theme celebration. When I think about celebration what came to me was summer is almost here. What I love about summer is those nice cool summer nights in my room, as the sun is setting and the moon is rising, I keep my window and door open to let the summer breeze freely waft into my space and cool my skin.

Peachie Graffiti

Toronto Street Art Graffiti
That was done by a graffiti artist named “Peachie” who paints that lizard character in unusual places. This is in a dangerous location. He would have had to have climbed that fence and risked falling several feet below. Scary !

  1. The image of the “duck with saxophone” is by Ozmos. They signed it in the bottom right corner.
