Toronto Street Art & Graffiti featuring Laneway Collection Artwork Murals found near Dovercourt by various artists including some unknown graff writers
The art that I found all this art is in an alleyway. It is a little off the regular path but worth a look if you find yourself in the area. There is a music store Long & McQuade out front – perhaps these murals were for their business.
Rock Paper Scissors Mural
Another from the vault… taken on September 15,2016
Don’t know who its by or anything – lemme now if you know who its by.. it was in a laneway that had tons of art.
Description:
The figure on the right is wearing a hat the says “Yo !!” and there are a couple of paper planes to the right of him. Maybe his hat is a paper plane ? He is wearing a black shirt with skulls all over it. His left hand is making the scissor sign.”
The green figure on the right is wearing white underwear (Hanes brand maybe). It appears to be making the rock sign.
On the bottom it says “Rock” “Paper” “Scissors” and I am guessing that it is signed by “Phresh T”.
There you go… I hope it was worth the 14 month wait for this.
Enjoy !
Kizmet32 Raccoon Mural
This mural by Kizmet32 is around the corner from the previous mural.
Its high up — much like raccoons, I’ve noticed this artist has a lot of raccoons in his artwork.
It says ” Don’t be afraid by critical”
Cruzart Mural
This is in the same alley by Cruz Art. Judging from the tag it was done way back in 2007.
She Knows Mural
Another by an artist that I don’t know. Its over the stairwell behind a business. There were all sorts of murals in this alleyway. Some large and some just a few feet high. Very eclectic group of art by various artists.
