Toronto Street Art Graffiti features Mikha One cartoon type characters with various graff burners + Elicser Elliott/Mediah collaboration on doorway backalley
Mikha One & Various Artists Graffiti
Found this graffiti back on December 9th, 2015 – I think I posted one or two on my Instagram back then but it doesn’t translate very well – especially, on a small screen. These were all under a highway overpass. You have to walk around this corner at two different locations and when you get to certain spots you have to crouch down because you can’t stand up – its literally too low.
The only ones that are signed are the cartoon characters by Mikha One. This looks like a sailor signed by Mikha One – dated 2013.
That looks like Barrack Obama (to me anyway) signed by Mikha One.

I don’t know who that 3 eyed smurf is by… I think it’s smoking a joint.
There were a lot of graffiti burners in this underpass as well.
That lettering was written at the top of the hill.. it was really dirty under here.
It says in the middle.. “Me & Forty Back to Work But We Still Smell Like a Vacation”
Lettering says ” Listen Study Develop”
My hunch is that this artwork was done by many artists over a long period of time. It was pretty creepy down here and I was all by myself.. so I got a little spooked out. There was a lot of garbage around. I am not sure if the graffiti artists use this as a spot to practice art on but that would make sense to me. Its definitely out of the way.

Small Face Mural by Unknown Artist
This face outside a doorway got painted over just this year for the new mural by Paula Tikay.
It had been around for a couple of years (that I noticed it anyway). When I Google the location the ‘Google Maps’ has a picture from 2009 and that face wasn’t there back then. Kinda miss it.. but the Paula Tikay mural is really fabulous.

Mediah – Elicser Elliott Mural
[one_half][/one_half][one_half_last][/one_half_last]
This Elicser Elliott has been around in this back alley for awhile 2. Recently, the Women Paint Toronto Project was done is this same alley. They worked around the artwork that was already there.
The writing below the face says “Capetown Aftermath”. The Mediah piece flows from the left hand side.
Just Google the definition of Elicser or elixir and the dictionary says :
1 a (1) : a substance held capable of changing base metals into gold. (2) : a substance held capable of prolonging life indefinitely. b (1) : cure-all. (2) : a medicinal concoction. 2 : a sweetened liquid usually containing alcohol that is used in medication either for its medicinal ingredients or as a flavoring.
I’ve seen him sign his artwork with Elixir as well Elicser.
