Toronto Street Art & Graffiti featuring Murals By Jieun June Kim & Paula Tikay plus Ted Hamer all found in the Bloordale/Brockton Village areas of downtown
Mural by Jieun June Kim
Finally, managed to see this today by Jieun June Kim @junekima.rt – I was hoping to see her working on this – but she got this done pretty quickly. Was really impressed !
This wall had been tagged severely over the last two years.. so its a much needed improvement. Definitely a good blast of color needed for the upcoming winter ! I was looking forward some color on a this dreary day.. as my 86 year old neighbour used to say “Its a bitch of a day”. This did the trick just as it started to snow.

Mural by Paul Tikay and Aner
Found this a little earlier in the same area by Paula Tikay and Aner. They must have done this in the summer when they were here. Its tucked down an alleyway off of Sheridan Avenue. Seems to be a collaboration with another artist who goes by Cremes.
They are the artists who from Chile who I meet in the summer. They did two murals in the area at the time. I didn’t realize that they had done this extra bonus one until today.

Mural by Ted Hamer
Even earlier again today I also saw this new mural by Ted Hamer. I stumbled upon it last week but he was still working on it. This is outside one of the exits at Dufferin Subway station. He did this for Start Street Art Toronto.
On the side that is visible from the street — its someone on a bike. A bunny, a parrot, elephants, birds, a fox, someone walking, an owl, racoon, someone walking again, cat, a little girl and a butterfly.
Then, if you go to the back where the parking is — there is a deer and another bunny.
