Sticker Slaps & Wheat Paste Throw Ups

I’m catching up with more Sticker Slaps with some Stencils thrown in for good measure. Also really old fashioned graffiti tag. I seemed to have found a lot of these in the Month of May. This is my second post and I still have finished posting all of them from May 2017. I guess the better weather enables me to see them better.

Life Stencil

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

“Life How I Shall Adore Til the Day I Die”. This is a stencil on the side of a planter on Queen St West. The Pink Elephant is another stencil as well. I googled that quote but it seems to be an original.

This was apart of a project with artwork on planters to attract insects like bees.

Unigo Graffiti

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

I don’t know why I like this one. Its just very simple. It was only on the wall for no more than a day before it got washed.

Run to Beer Sticker Slap

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

This was outside a craft brewery. I’ve noticed that craft breweries use these stickers to advertise their products. Cheap and simple advertising.

This was near Duggan‘s who also sell beer right from their restaurant.

Bad Boy Sticker Slap

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

I find a lot of parody sticker sticker slaps as well. This is a parody of Bad Boy furniture with the logo and Bad Boy mascot. Bad Boy is of course owned by the former mayor and his son.

The sticker slap simply reads “Half Baked Bad Boy Stonr”. Sounds like another cannabis reference.

Urban Ninja Squadron WheatPaste Throw Up

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

This is a collaboration between Urban Ninja Squadron and Roc 514. I’ve met Urban Ninja Squadron a couple of times and he actually has helped me understand the difference between vinyl slaps and wheat paste throw ups… This is wheat paste.

Sophia Was Here Sticker Slap

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

I don’t know why that caught my eye. Its so simple probably done by ‘Sophia’ herself. I passed this a couple of weeks ago and it was still intact. Sophia is still there !

Embracing Emptiness Sticker Slap

Toronto Street Art Graffiti

“Embracing Emptiness Can Be Fulfilling” sticker slap that I really like. I googled that and found a blog post .. that was written in May of 2017. Could be related.. it might just be a coincidence.

I have found a few of these sticker slaps with the mermaid on them as well. I looked closely and it says “Mc Spankle” to the right of her hair.
