Toronto Street Art & Graffiti featuring Uber500 Humane Society Mural with different adoptable pets that are found inside the building including cats & dogs
Uber500 Humane Society Mural
???? by @uber5000 —
This mural is at the Toronto Human Society building @toronto_humane_society . South & west walls have all this amazing artwork on it – featuring different types of pets that you can adopt inside the building.
I was trying to figure out the best way to show this mural & this is the best I could come up with. Simple solution is showing some of the sections in a collage for Instagram. It’s hard to show all the details on IG – especially on a mobile phone. You really have to ‘see this for yourself’ .. its made up of a whole bunch of animals that all flow together on the sides of the brick structure.
Uber5000 spent a month back in July working on this mural. Details are so incredible – you literally have to walk & look slowly at every section to take it all in. These are just some of the sections.. but I narrowed it down to these for IG.
From Top to Bottom
1) A dog that is looking over the fence. That’s the real fence that goes over the bridge to the right of this building.
2) Cat with a bird sitting on its head.
3) Rabbit who wears red eye glasses !
4) Hamster eating a donut & waving – (& to the right of him you can see a cat holding a ball of yarn.)
5) Doug the Dog – notice the dog’s dog tag says “Doug” – there’s also a blue dog right beside him.
There are a lot more animal characters in this mural.. There’s a hamster wheel and lots of dogs and cats that I didn’t show (I did feature 2 of the cats back in October – if you wanna go back to see).
I can’t tell you how wonderful this mural is.. it just makes you happy !
Not to be a plug for Animal Shelters.. BUT.. if you are thinking about getting a pet for the holidays.. this is really the place to get one. U might not get a designer dog.. but U will get a friend for life..
