East End Urban Exploration December 2020

East End Urban Exploration December 2020

Finally, I did some exploring in the East End. It was kinda exciting to find some great new murals and street art back at the beginning of Decmeber. I took a look at the Butterfly Lane Way project that Nick Sweetman put together in 2018. It’s holding up pretty well.

No sooner had I looked at the Butterfly Lane Way project when I stumbled on another mural by Nick Sweetman and Elicser. Then right after that .. I literally stumbled on Nick Sweetman himself doing a mural of a Chameleon.. You can’t make that stuff up.

Jim Bravo Mural

Found this mural by Jim Bravo in an alley. He is one of the few artists that isn’t on Instagram.. (not that I could find anyway). But he does have a website with photos of his murals.

Garfield Wheat Paste

I’ve found a couple of these Garfield paste ups. This is the first one that is in colour.

Nick Sweetman Chameleon Mural

Always great to spot Nick Sweetman working away. You won’t believe how many times I have run into him over the last year. He’s got be one of the hardest working mural artists in the city.. if not the busiest ! Nick has been out there in all kinds of weather – rain – hot and freezing cold.

Alley Street Art Graffiti Burner

If you go up the same alley you will find this wall of street art that leads to the parking lot with the Chameleon.
