Elicser Elliott Toronto based artist orginally from Montreal. My introduction to his work is mostly because of the large amount of murals that he has done in the downtown core especially on Queen St West.
When you pass one of his murals you know right away that it is one of his creations because of the distinct characters that he uses.
I got to see him working live back in 2015 and didn’t realize at the time who he was. He’s the artist that does the Movember murals every year in November for men’s cancer awareness. I got to see him working the wall of a garage for that campaign. He has a crew back then and they were using only a ladder.
He has murals not just on Queen St though you can find them east and north as well. A lot of his work is hard to capture because of the massive size of them with a lot of details that the camera can’t pick up.
