Urban Exploration March 2020 Edition

Urban Exploration March 2020

Since my last post was not for everyone I decided to share this one at the same time. These are some of my finds from this month of March.

Downward Dog Mural

I see this mural outside a yoga studio all the time. I couldn’t find any information except on another blog. It’s been there at least since 2012.

Graffiti Alley

When visitors from other places come to Graffiti Alley some like to leave their mark. I think it says “BardeJoy to Toronto”.

Justin Pape Artwork

I put this in my Instagram story and Justin Pape saw it. He DM’d me to let me know that this is artwork. He said that he had in his studio in North York. Somehow it disappeared and he couldn’t find it. Then it appeared in a window on Queen St. He has no idea how it got from North York to Downtown !

FreePlay Toronto Mural

I posted this awhile back but I didn’t credit that artists.

We can’t get enough of our graffiti installations. We worked closely with local artists @dynamo416 and @lifeseemsdull. They executed our vision perfectly.

Retired Graffiti

This wall changes all the time. The most recent has this pair of spray paint cans with the caption ‘Retired – Getting Up Aint Eazzzy”. I think it’s done by the students who go to school across the street.

Graffiti

“Stay true to yourself and you will attract the greatest things the world has to offer”. This is probably the best graffiti I have found in a long time !

Elliot Elicser Mural

Down this alley I found an old Elicser mural.

Unfortunately a car was parked there so this is the best shot I could get of the side of the building.

Bruno Smoky & Shalak Attack Garage Door Murals

In that same alley is a pair of garage doors by Bruno Smoky and Shalak Attack.

Bruno’s mural didn’t survive.

Shalak’s did however.

Harbord Auto Centre Street Art

There’s a bunch of murals in the alley behind this auto shop. I walked by for years and didn’t realize all these murals were there.

That is by Kwest !

Cote Garage Door Mural

This is fairly new. It’s just signed COTE.
