Aerosol Ice Cream Van Peru143 found at Pride Weekend in downtown Toronto. The colors on this are really amazing. He’s a very talented graffiti artist
Artwork ice cream van was painted by @peru143 !
Forgot about this one from Pride Weekend.. I got distracted by that dancing pineapple. I had to wait a really long time time to get a clean photo of this. There were some many people walking by at this intersection. There was even a lifelike love doll right where I was standing with balloons and people keep getting in the way. It took forever but I managed to get a clean shot of the van.
The other side has a similar design with red white blue colors and a popsicle on the door. The back is really fantastic with a pair of smiling chocolate vanilla ice cream cones holding hands. It was neat to see an updated version of the traditional ice cream van.
I don’t know much about him except what his Instagram account says. “Peru Dyer Jalea Peruvian-Canadian Muralist ◆ Graffiti Writer ◆ Graphic Wizzard ◆ Woodworking Polylinguis”.
From his IG account it looks like this was done in June of 2015. It’s the first time i’ve seen it. But he also does some other work on vans which is really interesting.
His designs are very unique and every time I see it I know who its by right away. I even saw a beer can that he designed for @collectivebrew. He did a live event earlier this year with Bruno Smoky and Shalak Attack in Hamilton.
I’ve seen his work all over the city including a recent utility box that he did in Liberty Village. Last year I posted a huge wall mural that he did for @seawalls.
He’s multitalented and I’ve even noticed a few of his sticker slaps around the downtown core.
I never did get an ice cream cone from the this van.. but if I ever see it around again I will definitely try one.
