Garage Door Mural Finds April 2018
These are all from the first part of April. I was just recouping from a broken ankle so I was covering as much territory as possible. The weather was pretty nice for urban exploration until a huge snowstorm hit in the middle of the month and made everything more difficult.
Elicser Elliot Traffic Signal Box Art
This is another Traffic signal box by Elicser Elliot. Coincidentally, I used to work inside that building eons ago.
Elicser Elliot Wall Mural
Right across the street is a building that was always called the ‘Magic Building’. That mural wasn’t there until recently.
Here’s a brief article about the building.

You would think that I would know who did this one. But I don’t ! I lived two doors down from this and watched the artist paint it. I never even thought to take a picture of him working on it .. way back in 2009.. Oops. It still looks great all these years later.

I found this mural on the Bell Box Facebook page “REMEMBERING When the Grand Trunk Railway stopped in Parkdale, Toronto. Lula Lumaj works on her Bell box mural on Queen near Roncesvalles.”
I found her website.. she says this about herself : “I have been drawing ever since I could remember, or ever since my mom can remember, considering she had to wash pen ink from my jeans”
