Shalak Attack multi-talented artist from Toronto. She is one of the most known of the graffit artists that I have seen. Her work is very diverse and she does different types of art including sculptures.
Her art actually made me take notice of street art. I had seen it before but her colors really drew me into another world. Her murals are done on a very large scale and with vivid striking colors.
Her husband is Bruno Smoky and when they work together they work as Clandestinoart. She has Chilean roots and he is from Brazil.
I managed to see her working this year for the very first time. Unfortuately, there was a thunderstorm and she was working on a ladder so I was only able to say hello.
A lot of the work that she and her husband do has a lot of environment messages in them.. that I have noticed anyway.
