This part of Montreal is what Graffiti Alley in Toronto should have been. Although its smaller there is always something happening in this area. Its what they call ‘legal walls’ Meaning that you can legally paint what you want here and not be in trouble.
Sometimes in the summer there are festivals happening. But generally you will just see somebody painting here.

It constantly changes so it’s best to take lots of pictures because the next time you visit it will be all different.

I googled Gold Casanova and discovered that this is the artwork of Charles Desmarais. He has his own website with some of his artwork. He describes himself as a designer

Grey Market Murals







This is basically a night market. In the daylight you can see all the murals a lot better.
Dodo Ose Mural

The last time I went by I saw this mural by Dodo Ose.. but like all the artwork around here it changes as well. So take lots and lots of photos.

Ok this corner always has something different at the corner. When I went by I discovered this. It would be interesting to know the history of this. Someone very clever and creative puts a lot of effort into this space.
