Graffiti Sandwich Board Chalk Drawing Artwork
This is a post that I wanted to do for a long time. I see these ‘sandwich boards’ everywhere. Some of them have really cool graffiti quotes and other just amazing artwork.
I’m so impressed that some of the artists are able to do these with just chalk. I’ve rarely seen these signs ‘signed’.. so I don’t know who to credit other than the establishment.
These are the sandwich boards that I found from January to May 2018. Enjoy:
‘Long Hair Freaky People’ Graffiti Sign
This graffiti quote is from a 1971 song by Canadian group – Five Man Electrical Band
and sampled by Fatboy Slim in 2004

“Behind Every Successful Person is a Substantial Amount of Coffee” ☕. I see these sandwich boards outside a lot of coffee houses.. some of them have the best graffiti quotes.
‘Hey Girl’ Sandwich Board Graffiti
Sometimes they have different graffiti or art on both sides of the sandwich boards. This one says “Hey girl, leggings ARE pants, and there’s no such thing as TOO much coffee”.

Persian New Year Sandwich Board Graffiti
“You can’t stop dreaming just because the night never seems to end” Hafiz .. (Happy Persian New Year).
I didn’t know who Hafiz was .. and according to Wiki he was ” a Persian poet[2][3] who “lauded the joys of love and wine but also targeted religious hypocrisy”

3 Names Sandwich Board Graffiti
“There are 3 names by which a person is called: one which your parents call you, one which other people call you, and one which you earn for yourself. The name you earn for yourself is the best one of all.” midrash tanhuma
This is again, something I had to Google.. Wiki says: “Midrash Tanhuma (Hebrew: מדרש תנחומא) is the name given to three different collections of Pentateuch aggadot; two are extant, while the third is known only through citations. “
