Ottawa Street Art Murals
You know that expression – business in the front and party in the back ? Well, this is taking that literally. The Top of the World Skateshop is a business on Bank St and behind the shop is a patio filled with street art murals. Even the side of the building has a brand new mural.
Shalak Attack Mural
Last year Shalak Attack created this mural for the skate shop. She even has a video of the creation of this mural on her instagram.
Bruno Smoky Mural
Just across the way is this mural by Bruno Smoky that is also tagged Clandestinos.
Pat Buck Mural
This mural by Pat Buck is between the Shalak Attack and Bruno Smoky mural.
There were some tables in front so I wasn’t able to get the best photo. However, Pat Buck has a good picture on his Instagram.
Dom Laporte Mural
Just last month Dom Laporte created another new mural in that back party area.
He also has a time lapse video of him working on the mural. It’s interesting to watch because you can see how he uses a grid outline in the process.
En Masse Door Mural
Not sure if this by En Masse or not.. but it sure looks like it from the design and the black and white style.
Sunnystreet Studio Mural
Last and one of the more recent murals is this one by Sunnystreet Studio who painted the side of the buidling just a week ago.
Anyway, if you find yourself in Ottawa – check out this part of the city for some fun creative murals. It looks like these murals change from time to time – so its worth a peek even if you have been at this location before.
